Slavonia Extended Weekend

From €2,290 per person

Slavonia Extended Weekend connects Osijek, Đakovo, Erdut, Papuk, Kutjevo, Vukovar and Ilok in one carefully paced private journey. Each day has its own character. City and gastronomy. Heritage and Danube wine. Nature and the vineyards of Kutjevo. History and the eastern wine country around Ilok. One accommodation base keeps the journey relaxed and avoids unnecessary hotel changes.

The journey

  1. Day 1

    Osijek & Slavonian Welcome

Begin in Osijek. Explore selected parts of Tvrđa, the historic centre, the Drava riverfront and the city's architectural heritage. The first evening concludes with a curated Welcome Dinner at Crna Svinja. A contemporary introduction to Slavonian ingredients and regional character.

  2. Day 2

    Đakovo & Erdut Wine Country

Discover the cultural heritage of Đakovo before continuing toward the Danube. After a regional lunch, the journey moves into the vineyards of Erdut. A curated winery experience at Brzica introduces one of eastern Croatia's most distinctive wine landscapes. One winery. Enough time to understand the place.

  3. Day 3

    Papuk & Kutjevo

A different Slavonia. Forests, hills and movement in Papuk Nature Park. Depending on the group and conditions, the experience can include a scenic walk, curated hiking or a premium e-bike programme. After Papuk, continue toward Kutjevo. Regional lunch. Then a premium wine experience at Galić, focused on Graševina and the identity of one of Croatia's established wine regions.

  4. Day 4

    Vukovar, Ilok & the Danube

The final day follows the Danube east. Discover selected cultural and historical elements of Vukovar before continuing to Ilok. Historic streets. Vineyards above the Danube. Iločki Podrumi and Principovac. The journey concludes with a curated wine and gastronomic experience before private departure.

Questions

Is this a private journey?

Yes. Every departure is organised exclusively for the guests travelling together — private Mercedes-Benz transportation, a dedicated Adrion Travel Host and journey coordination arranged for your group alone. There are no mixed Adrion departures.

Do we change hotels?

No. The standard journey uses a single premium base for all three nights — Hotel Materra, in the Čepin and Osijek area — which keeps the rhythm simple and lets each day focus on the region rather than on logistics.

How much wine is in the programme?

Three wine regions, three identities: Brzica at Erdut, Galić at Kutjevo, and Iločki Podrumi and Principovac at Ilok. The journey is not built around collecting tastings — each region is experienced once, with enough time to understand its landscape.

Can the itinerary be adjusted?

The overall structure of the journey remains consistent, while selected elements may be adapted according to travel dates, weather conditions, seasonal opportunities and individual preferences.
