RISNJAK NATIONAL PARK
Begin the day in the forests of Gorski kotar. A curated nature experience introduces the landscapes of Risnjak National Park through selected forest trails, karst features and the natural environment surrounding Crni Lug. This is not a demanding mountain ascent. The experience is designed to provide meaningful time in the National Park while preserving the rhythm of the complete journey.

FROM THE MOUNTAINS TO THE SEA
Leaving Risnjak, travel through one of the most striking landscape transitions of the journey. The dense forests of Gorski kotar gradually give way to views towards Rijeka, Kvarner and the Adriatic. The changing landscape is part of the experience.

TRSAT CASTLE & KVARNER VIEW
Arrive at historic Trsat above Rijeka. Explore the castle and its fortifications with your private guide while discovering the strategic importance of this elevated position. From Trsat, the journey opens towards the coast with panoramic views across Rijeka and Kvarner. It is the natural bridge between the mountain and Adriatic chapters of the day.

SIGNATURE GASTRONOMY IN OPATIJA
Continue to Opatija for a relaxed gastronomic experience at an Adrion-selected premium restaurant. The emphasis moves towards the flavours of Kvarner and the Adriatic, with seasonal ingredients, selected Croatian wine and a carefully paced lunch. After an active morning, the journey deliberately slows around the table.

OPATIJA & THE ADRIATIC
Spend the final part of the afternoon discovering the heritage and atmosphere of Opatija. A curated gastronomic experience is followed by an unhurried exploration of historic villas, gardens and a selected section of the Lungomare promenade.

Is this a private experience?
Yes. Every departure is organised exclusively for the guests travelling together — private Mercedes-Benz transportation, licensed local guiding and complete Adrion journey coordination arranged for your group alone.
How long is the journey?
Approximately twelve to twelve and a half hours, beginning with a private pick-up in Zagreb and concluding with a private return.
How demanding is the Risnjak section?
Not demanding. Around two hours are reserved for a curated nature experience in the Crni Lug area, using the Leska educational trail and the surrounding landscape. There is no attempt on the summit of Veliki Risnjak, and the route can be adapted to weather, trail conditions and the group.
How many guests can join?
Adrion recommends up to six guests for the most personal experience and greatest flexibility. Private groups of up to 15 guests can also be accommodated, with transportation and guiding arrangements adapted accordingly.
