From the clear waters and traditional mills of the Gacka Valley, the journey continues into the forests of Northern Velebit and Štirovača before crossing the mountain through Baške Oštarije and descending towards the Adriatic. One carefully selected accommodation base in the Krasno / Northern Velebit area provides a comfortable starting point for each day.
The journey
- Day 1
Gacka & Krasno
Begin along the Gacka River with Majerovo Vrilo, traditional mills and an optional private kayaking experience, before continuing to the accommodation base near Northern Velebit for a welcome dinner.
- Day 2
Northern Velebit & Štirovača
Explore the forests and mountain landscapes of Northern Velebit by Premium Full-Suspension E-MTB, the route selected around weather and the group's pace, combined with a mountain picnic of regional Lika and Gorski Kotar products.
- Day 3
Velebit & the Adriatic
The signature day: cross Velebit through Baške Oštarije for a local cheese experience at Vegium, continue to Kubus, then descend the mountain toward Karlobag for swimming and a curated coastal lunch, before returning across Velebit to Krasno.
- Day 4
Smiljan & Departure
Breakfast and check-out, then a scenic drive through Lika to Smiljan, birthplace of Nikola Tesla, for a visit to the Memorial Center before your private departure transfer.
