The Kvarner Signature Journey follows the region from the Opatija Riviera down through its islands to Lošinj. It begins beneath Učka on the Riviera that made Kvarner a destination in the nineteenth century, takes in the maritime heritage of Rijeka, then moves out to the islands — an Adrion island passage south, Lošinj explored by bicycle, and a private day on the Adriatic — at a pace that lets each stage settle before the next.
The journey
- Day 1
Arrival on the Opatija Riviera
Your journey begins with a private transfer to your selected accommodation on the Opatija Riviera, which serves as the first accommodation base throughout the opening part of the programme. The first day has been designed to allow time to settle in before the journey begins. Following check-in, you will meet your Adrion Travel Host, who will introduce the programme and provide an overview of the days ahead. The evening concludes with a welcome dinner at a carefully selected regional restaurant, offering an introduction to Kvarner's food and wine traditions.
- Day 2
Učka Nature Park & Eastern Riviera
The second day is dedicated to the landscapes of the Učka mountain range and the eastern Kvarner coastline. Using Premium Full-Suspension Electric Mountain Bikes (E-MTBs), guests explore panoramic roads, forests and coastal scenery through routes selected according to the itinerary, weather conditions and the group's preferences. The day combines cycling with regional gastronomy, allowing time to experience carefully selected restaurants and local specialities while vehicle support remains available throughout the programme.
- Day 3
Opatija, Rijeka & Regional Heritage
The third day introduces another perspective of Kvarner through its coastal towns, cultural heritage and regional gastronomy. The programme combines time in Opatija and Rijeka with carefully selected dining experiences, allowing guests to experience both the historic character of the region and its contemporary culinary scene before continuing to the island section of the journey.
- Day 4
Adrion Island Passage
The fourth day marks the transition between the two accommodation bases. While your Dedicated Professional Driver transfers luggage, bicycles and the support vehicle to the second accommodation base, guests continue the journey by private boat accompanied by their Adrion Travel Host. The programme combines Adriatic navigation with opportunities for swimming, time at sea and regional dining before arriving in Mali Lošinj later in the day, where the second part of the journey begins.
- Day 5
Lošinj by Bicycle
The fifth day is dedicated to the island landscapes of Lošinj. Premium Full-Suspension Electric Mountain Bikes (E-MTBs) provide a comfortable way to explore coastal promenades, forest trails and panoramic viewpoints, allowing guests to experience the island at a relaxed pace while vehicle support remains available whenever required. Regional gastronomy continues to form an important part of the day's programme.
- Day 6
Private Adriatic Experience
The final full day is centred around the Adriatic. A privately organised boating experience introduces another perspective of the Kvarner islands through selected routes, sheltered bays and opportunities to enjoy the sea at a comfortable pace. Depending on weather conditions and the selected route, the programme may include swimming stops, regional dining and time to experience the coastline from the water before concluding with a farewell dinner.

Continue Your Journey
Following breakfast, the programme concludes with a private Mercedes-Benz transfer from Mali Lošinj. Depending on your onward travel plans, Adrion will arrange transportation to your selected airport, another Croatian region or the next stage of your personalised itinerary, allowing the Kvarner Signature Journey to become part of a longer journey through Croatia.

Published prices apply to private groups of 4–6 guests. Journeys for 2–3 guests and larger private groups of up to 15 guests are individually quoted according to accommodation, group configuration and programme requirements.

Is this a private journey?
Yes. Every departure is organised exclusively for the guests travelling together — private transportation, a dedicated Adrion Travel Host and journey coordination arranged for your group alone.
How demanding is the cycling?
Previous mountain-biking experience is not required. Premium full-suspension E-MTBs and carefully selected routes let guests of ordinary fitness cover the terrain comfortably, and routes are adapted to the group.
Can the itinerary be adjusted?
The overall structure of the journey remains consistent, while selected elements may be adapted according to travel dates, weather and sea conditions, seasonal opportunities and individual preferences.
What accommodation is used?
Accommodation is proposed individually — boutique hotels, carefully selected coastal properties, heritage properties or private villas — matched to your travel dates, group size and preferences.
