Kvarner is where the Adriatic first meets the mountains — the Opatija Riviera below, Učka rising directly behind it, and a scatter of islands within an hour of the shore. The Kvarner Extended Weekend covers that ground in four unhurried private days, combining premium e-MTB routes through Učka Nature Park and Krk with a private boat day along the Riviera, and the regional food and hospitality that hold it all together.
The journey
- Day 1
Arrival in Kvarner
Your journey begins with a private transfer to your individually curated accommodation, carefully selected according to your travel style, preferred location and comfort expectations. The first day is intentionally unhurried, allowing time to settle in before the journey begins. After check-in, you will meet your Adrion Travel Host, who will introduce the programme and provide an overview of the days ahead. The evening concludes with a welcome dinner at a carefully selected regional restaurant, offering an introduction to Kvarner's regional cuisine and culinary traditions.
- Day 2
Učka & Krk Island
The second day is dedicated to the natural landscapes and cultural traditions of Kvarner. Using Premium Full-Suspension Electric Mountain Bikes (E-MTBs), guests explore scenic routes through Učka Nature Park and the Opatija Riviera before continuing towards the island of Krk. The day combines cycling with time to explore the historic town of Vrbnik, visit a carefully selected boutique winery and experience local olive oil producers, introducing the indigenous Žlahtina grape variety and the authentic flavours that define Kvarner's gastronomic identity. Transportation support remains available throughout the day, allowing the programme to adapt comfortably to the pace and preferences of the group.
- Day 3
Private Boat Experience
The third day is centred around the Adriatic Sea. A private boating experience offers the opportunity to discover another side of Kvarner. Depending on the selected route, the programme may include cruising along the Opatija Riviera, visits to Cres, hidden bays, crystal-clear lagoons and opportunities to enjoy the northern Adriatic at a relaxed pace. The itinerary remains flexible, allowing each departure to reflect weather conditions, seasonal considerations and the preferences of the guests travelling with us. The day concludes with dinner at a carefully selected regional restaurant, presenting another aspect of Kvarner's regional food and wine.
- Day 4
Departure
Following breakfast, the programme concludes with a private departure transfer. Guests wishing to continue exploring Croatia may extend their stay through one of Adrion's Tailor-Made Extensions, including Gorski Kotar, Istria or a private Kvarner island cruise, allowing the Kvarner Extended Weekend to become part of a longer personalised itinerary.

Is this a private journey?
Yes. Every departure is organised exclusively for the guests travelling together — private transportation, a dedicated Adrion Travel Host and journey coordination arranged for your group alone.

Previous mountain-biking experience is not required. Premium full-suspension E-MTBs and carefully selected routes let guests of ordinary fitness cover the terrain comfortably, and routes are adapted to the group.
Can the itinerary be adjusted?
The overall structure of the journey remains consistent, while selected elements may be adapted according to travel dates, weather and sea conditions, seasonal opportunities and individual preferences.
What accommodation is used?
Accommodation is proposed individually — boutique hotels, carefully selected coastal properties, heritage properties or private villas — matched to your travel dates, group size and preferences.
